The Thermocouple Input device supports various thermocouple types including T, E, J, K, R, S, B, N, or mV. It also has programmable temperature offset and allows you to select between degrees Fahrenheit or Celsius for display. The device conforms to the ITS-90 temperature standard and offers cold junction compensation that can be enabled or disabled. It has a minimum and maximum display capture feature with an LCD screen and green/red LED backlighting. The digits on the display are 0.48" (12.2 mm) high. Optional serial communication modules (RS-232 or RS-485) are available, as well as optional setpoint cards (dual sink or relay) and a USB programming card. The device operates from a power source of 9 to 28 VDC and can be mounted on the front panel or programmed using Crimson software. It also has colour change capability at the setpoint output and features a NEMA 4X/IP65 sealed front bezel for protection.
