With the rise of Emerson’s PAC Machine Edition 9.8 comes an array of features such as the ability to convert PLC projects into previous versions of Machine Edition. This is extremely useful for sites that have multiple projects with different versions because now only one software package is required.

The process is very simple…

• Open the project and make sure the Navigator and Inspector windows are open.
• Click on the project name and observe the properties in the inspector window.
