ABB drives are used to improve energy efficiency in a wide range of industries and applications, ranging from single-phase residential and commercial buildings to massive all-electric drive systems that power entire natural gas liquefaction plants and massive gearless mill drives that grind ore and minerals into smaller pieces at mines and processing plants. ABB has been at the forefront of applying drive control to optimize HVAC systems.
The smart variable speed drive is committed to reducing energy consumption, producing clean air, and reducing environmental concerns. For an energy-conscious commercial environment, cut costs by efficiently controlling your building's fans, compressors, and pump motors. The ACH550 is known for its dependability, flexibility, and support for all HVAC communication protocols. It has been pre-programmed for a variety of applications such as air handling units, cooling towers, chillers, and more.
Have you ever wondered which parameters to set when trying to commission an ABB ACH550 HVAC VSD to maintain pressure in a building stairwell?
Note 1
Analogue input 1 DIP switch selector is by default set to voltage so if the transducer has a 0 to 10 volt output then leave this switch in the left-hand side position. If however the transducer output is mA then move this switch to the right-hand side position.
