Optimize your automation systems with the Red Lion PXU Series PID Controller, a versatile instrumentation solution available in 1/4 DIN, 1/8 DIN, and 1/16 DIN sizes. This controller ensures precise temperature regulation with an RTD indication accuracy of (0.3% of span, +1°C) at 25°C and supports a wide range of thermocouple input types including T, E, J, K, R, S, B, N, L, U, and TXK. It accommodates both 2 or 3 wire RTD inputs with an excitation of 180 µA. The PXU series is designed for flexibility with universal process inputs ranging from 0-5 or 0-10 VDC to 0-20 or 4-20 mA and even includes a low voltage input option of 0-50 mV. For current transformers (CT), an optional input accepts 0 to 25 mA AC for single-phase monitoring. Remote control is possible through inputs accepting either voltage (0-10 VDC) or current signals (0-20 mA or 4-20 mA). Communication is streamlined via RS-485 serial interface ensuring easy integration into existing systems. Output options include time proportioning or DC analog signals along with dual relay alarm outputs that can be configured as Form A or C contacts rated for up to 3 A @ 250 VAC. Visibility is enhanced by an LCD negative image transmissive display featuring backlighting for clear readouts even in low-light conditions. The Red Lion PXU PID Controller offers reliable performance powered by either AC (100 to 240 VAC) or DC (24 VDC) sources making it a robust choice for diverse industrial applications within the automation sector.
