The EMX4i is an advanced smart soft starter designed for in-line installation. It features an internal bypass and has a frame size of S2 with an IP00 rating. The current ratings vary depending on the load, with 410A for light and medium loads, 379A for heavy loads, and 303A for severe loads. The supply voltage range is between 200-525V AC, while the control voltage is 24V AC/DC. This soft starter offers a wide range of motor control features, including constant current and current ramp start, coast to stop and TVR stop, XLR-8 adaptive control starting/stopping, DC brake, soft brake, kickstart, soft trip, jog (forward and reverse), and inside delta (6 wire) control. It also provides motor protection against various issues such as motor thermistor faults, current imbalance, under/over current conditions, phase sequence errors, phase loss, and power loss. For simplified management, the EMX4i includes emergency run mode and run simulation capabilities with real-time performance graphs. It also has SCR fail power through operation and daily on/off scheduling options. To enhance functionality further, the EMX4i can support an I/O smart card or a communication expansion card with a remote keypad connector. Alternatively, it can be used with a dedicated keypad connector card. Additionally, it offers a USB port for easy parameter upload and download along with data logging capabilities.
