The EMX4i is an advanced smart soft starter designed for in-line installation. It features an internal bypass and has a frame size of S1 with an IP20 rating. The current ratings vary depending on the load, with light at 115A, medium at 107A, heavy at 86A, and severe at 66A. The supply voltage range is between 200-525V AC, while the control voltage is 24V AC/DC. This soft starter offers a wide range of motor control features, including constant current and current ramp start, coast to stop and TVR stop, XLR-8 adaptive control starting/stopping, DC brake, soft brake, kickstart, soft trip, jog (forward and reverse), and inside delta (6 wire) control. It also provides motor protection for motor thermistor, current imbalance, under/over current, phase sequence, phase loss, and power loss. In terms of management and monitoring capabilities, the EMX4i comes with emergency run mode and run simulation features that include real-time performance graphs. It also has SCR fail power through operation and daily on/off scheduling for simplified management. For enhanced functionality, the EMX4i can support an I/O smart card or a communication expansion card with a remote keypad connector. Alternatively, it can be used with a dedicated keypad connector card. Additionally, it offers a USB port for easy parameter upload and download along with data logging capabilities.
