The EMX4i is an advanced smart soft starter designed for in-line installation. It features an internal bypass and has a frame size of S1 with an IP20 rating. The current ratings for this soft starter are 69A at light, medium, and heavy loads, and 62A at severe loads. The supply voltage range is 200-525V AC, while the control voltage is 110/240V AC. Motor control features of the EMX4i include constant current and current ramp start, coast to stop and TVR stop, XLR-8 adaptive control starting/stopping, DC brake, soft brake, kickstart, soft trip, jog (forward and reverse), and inside delta (6 wire) control. This soft starter also offers motor protection for motor thermistor, current imbalance, under/over current, phase sequence, phase loss, and power loss. It has emergency run mode and run simulation capabilities with real-time performance graphs. For simplified management, the EMX4i includes SCR fail power through operation and daily on/off scheduling. It can support an I/O smart card or a communication expansion card with a remote keypad connector. Alternatively, it can be used with a dedicated keypad connector card for advanced functionality. Additionally, it has a USB port and data logging feature for easy parameter upload and download.
