The EMX4i is an advanced smart soft starter designed for in-line installation. It features an internal bypass and has a frame size of S1, with an IP20 rating. The current ratings for the EMX4i are as follows: 42A for light loads, 34A for medium loads, 27A for heavy loads, and 20A for severe loads. The supply voltage range for the EMX4i is 200-525V AC, while the control voltage is 110/240V AC. This smart soft starter offers a wide range of motor control features, including constant current and current ramp start, coast to stop and TVR stop, XLR-8 adaptive control starting/stopping, DC brake, soft brake, kickstart, soft trip, jog (forward and reverse), and inside delta (6 wire) control. In terms of motor protection, the EMX4i provides protection against motor thermistor faults, current imbalance, under/over current conditions, phase sequence issues, phase loss events, and power loss situations. For simplified management and monitoring of the EMX4i's performance, it comes with emergency run mode and run simulation capabilities that include real-time performance graphs. Additionally, it has SCR fail power through operation and daily on/off scheduling features. To enhance its functionality further, the EMX4i can support various expansion cards such as an I/O smart card or a communication expansion card with a remote keypad connector. Alternatively, it can also accommodate a dedicated keypad connector card. For easy parameter upload and download tasks, there is a USB port available along with data logging capabilities.
