The open-core current sensor is designed for DIN rail mounting and has a current measuring range of 0.1-20A. It has a current accuracy class 1 with a peak value of the distorted wave-form at 6. The sensor operates at a rated operational voltage of 690VAC/1500VDC, frequency of 50Hz, and an operating temperature range of -25 to 70°C. The CMS sensors are capable of monitoring and measuring all types of current - alternating (AC), direct (DC), or mixed (TRMS) currents. Each sensor is equipped with its own microprocessor for processing the signal. The maximum diameter of the cable that can be used with the sensor is 9.6mm.
