Solution

The Panasonic FP PLC series along with the IEC61131-3 compliant programming software allows the use of various programming languages and more importantly the ability for user defined function blocks.

Using the known formula for a horizontal tank, the formula is entered using the structured text language.

The code is written as a reusable function block and hence easily transferrable. Various functions blocks are available from Panasonic and IPD and we can assist you to develop your own.
