FPWIN Pro 7 is the universal software for all Panasonic PLCs including its FP Series. It’s been developed according to the IEC 61131-3 standard and offers the 5 programming languages most are familiar with.

You will find the platform is well-structured and organised, and developers will appreciate the writing instructions are split for each function and process. For new developers and users, accessing the documentation presents an easy guide for those starting out and easing into the software. Find this in the ‘Help’ tab once installed.

The operating system required for FPWIN Pro 7 is compatible for all Windows Versions between Windows 10 and Windows XP.  If you have FPWIN Pro 6 or earlier, don’t panic as Panasonic has included these to be compatible and can run FPWN Pro 7. This will allow you to convert your software and programs as well as keep them up to date.

To gain access to the software, Panasonic has released a free ‘Basic’ version of FPWIN Pro7 with an allowance of up to 10,000 steps. Once installed you will have full access to all FP PLC series and be ready for your next project.
