World EV Day is a global movement for driving change, a celebration of e-mobility and raises the awareness around sustainable transportation. Globally there has been an increase in electric vehicles on the roads as more corporations and car manufacturers pledge to phase out petrol and diesel vehicles.

Australia in recent times has been falling behind its global counterparts with less electric vehicles on the road and less electric vehicle infrastructure available to support the change, but as demand for electric vehicles continues to rise, as shown below, the infrastructure required is becoming vital, and the Australian and State Governments have begun to drive projects and offer incentives for the infrastructure to be put into place.

IPD is celebrating World EV Day by making a pledge that 50 per cent of their entire company fleet will be electric by the end of 2030 and will be installing electric vehicle chargers for our use by employees and customers.
