The PXU series is compatible with a wide range of thermocouple input types including T, E, J, K, R, S, B, N, L, U, and TXK as well as 2 or 3 wire RTD inputs with an excitation current of 180 µA. It also handles various process inputs from 0-5 or 0-10 VDC to 0-20 or 4-20 mA and even up to 0-50 mV. For current transformers (CT), an optional input accepts from 0 to 25 mA AC on a single phase. Remote input options include ranges from 0-10 VDC to either a standard or enhanced current loop of 0-20 mA or 4-20 mA. Communication is streamlined through RS-485 serial connectivity. Output options are flexible featuring time proportioning or DC analog outputs along with dual relay alarm outputs configurable as Form A or C contacts supporting up to a robust contact rating of 3 A @250 VAC.
